Drinking it, I was pleasantly surprised with the wine. Medium body, fruit forward and zero tannins. Posting it now, little did I know, I grabbed the wrong bottle. I totally opened the reserve by accident. No wonder I was overly satisfied.

Mexican food and Zinfandel are a match made in heaven, especially if you want to bypass beer and margaritas. Dense with deep purple color, the Zin tasted better as the food got hotter. Great reserve offering from a great winery.

Gotta love Opolo! Nice Zinfandel: not the norm fruit bomb like the mountain zin but a great balance. This is why I'm a member of Opolo!!
