Weak cab from Paso. Not my favorite and definitely not really worth compared to other wines in this price range. Aromas are appealing. Notes of plum, black tea and tobacco, but the flavors are very subtle and don’t last for long, leaving just a dry mouth and a bit of a bitter taste from the tannins.
Aerated with Coravin + aerator, which improves a bit the wine but still doesn’t bring the flavors fully. Maybe a bit of aging could improve it, but I doubt it.

Jun 6th, 2022Opolo's Cab takes some qualities from their Zin and Petit Sirah, but never quite achieves the same impressive level. It's good, just not extraordinary. It does have a fairly brisk acidity, but while ultimately drinkable it also fades quickly from your mind.
