Very well made, fruity and easy-going Gran Reserva (90/10 Tempranillo/Garnacha), aged 2 yrs in American oak and 3yrs in bottle.

Deep ruby color, purple to red rim.
Medium intensity nose of smoke, violets, black pepper, cherry, licorice, plum, roasted cacao beans. Whiff of vanilla.
Solid palate of medium body, lively acidity and tangible tannins. Flavored by blackthorn, wild cherry, damp strawberry, cornel, ashberry, wooden bark.
Finish is medium, scented by peppered blackthorn, bird cherry, tobacco.
Gone well with marble beef steak.
