The 2024 Old Rip has been a bit disappointing. The nose is dynamite, but the flavor profile is pretty one dimensional. A little heat, a little cigar box (but not much), and a little caramel. Everything is just... muted. The past 3 or 4 years have been much richer. Still, I'm not ready to throw it in an Old Fashioned.

Where the hype starts to fall off. Buffalo trace antique collection is across the board better.

I wasn't feeling this at all. Especially after the Lot B. A lot of bite and smoke and no real nuance.

As good as any Pappy should be.

Not exactly my palate but well made no doubt!
