Shláinte! Purchased in 1990 at the distillery and opened this year. After 40 years (1980) enticing aromas of smoky peat perfume fill my nose. Upon my palette the silky smooth whiskey caresses my tongue. Amazing experience!

Low-key catchup time with the bro. Smooth and tastes of caramel wrapping the tastebuds. Good transition from the now-lost Red Spot 22 yr.

I hate the regular 14 year old Oban and was hesitant to try this one - what a difference!!! Fantastic - balanced and flavorful!

Pretty smooth and a few knotches over the Oban 14 yr old. If you love Oban this takes it to the he next level.

Not sure if this is supposed to be better than the 18-year, or just packaged to look like it's supposed to be better - either way, it's damn good.
