Amazing and among the best Syrahs out there, this wine eschews the Aussie trend of Zinfandel-like jamminess for a more restrained Bordeaux-esque style, at the high end of medium bodied structure and lots of subtle currant and coffee flavors, with just a touch of the slightly fungal Washington terroir. BUY THIS WINE. Paired well with steak.
