On the nose; beautiful florals, blackberries, dark cherries, touch of red fruit cola, strawberries, nutmeg, spice, dry dark soils, well done toast and dry, decayed florals. M+ body & tannins but leans out as it sits on the palate. Muted fruits of; blackberries, dark cherries with notes of blueberries. Mocha powder, spice, dark dry soil, dry stone, dry stems, crushed rocks, good acidity with a decent finish but isn't sustaining. It is approachable young. 48% Merlot, 39% Cabernet and 3% Cabernet.

Better than I thought it would be. I've always loved the Stella but thought I was opening it a bit early. It's tasting really good now though. Even good the second day.
