Not quite age worthy, and tastes like it peaked 2-3 years ago (we drank it in May 2018). A little pungent in the nose, with a lot of heat. Woodsy and peaty like Polo cologne. Tastes more refined than it smells. Cherry pit, bark, and unsweetened cocoa. Sad we missed its better window. Age is a dominating bitch goddess...

This winery has made a name for itself w its amazing Riesling and Gewurtztraminer selections, which you should def try, but don't sleep on their Cab. Velvety luscious jackson kind of strength. Very good. 3 1/2 out of a possible 6 Jeffersons.
