Mt Mary is an aristocrat of the Yarra Valley covering several wine styles - all of them brilliant. Covering Cabernets (probably the flagship), Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. This will drink well through to the latter part of this decade. Postscript: Received 99 points from James Halliday who is a long time Burgundy nut and has drunk more than his fair share of Grand Cru Burgundy

Jul 10th, 2022From Langtons Outstanding category at the tasting in Brisbane. Always one of Australia’s best Pinot Noirs and built to last. Not cheap at around $110 but cheap compared to Premier Cru Burgundy.

Jan 19th, 2016Clear and pale tawny in color. 4th of 4 and at 10 years developing beautifully. Resinous and sappy with silky tannins - very Burgundian. "Patrician" as JH accurately described in one of his notes. Elegant and built for extended cellaring.
