Afraid of the Dark Okanagan Valley VQA White Rhone Blend
Not the most successful of the British Columbia wines I've had but still fun with the unique cuisine of Bao Bei.

Sep 3rd, 2014Clear yellow, nose of honeyy, grassy, apricot, citrus, with some bitterness in the middle and grassy end. I wasn't expecting some tartrate cristals at the end

Jun 6th, 2018A beautiful example of a Rhone blend. Stone fruit, hints of tropical but restrained enough to pair beautifully with food. Balanced acidity. Love it

Mar 15th, 2014A bit light, but beautiful. Clear wine with a pale gold color, just the tiniest bit of a rose petal color. Nose is very aromatic with lots of floral, mineral, and crunchy pear notes. Body is medium minus, acidity is medium high, and flavor intensity is medium. White stone fruit and a longish finish round this wine out. This wine dances on the border between too light and beautifully delicate very nicely.
