In a really nice spot right now. Paired beautifully with sous vide chateaubriand.

Was able to taste @Weston Eidson 's newest creation about 3 weeks after being bottled! A treat! This wine is a Medium+ bodied offering. A nose of black cherry, cola, and a little bit of bitter chocolate. The entry was very rounded for such a young wine. Some Cola and herb in the middle. Finished with some very youthful dusty and stiff tannins, but I guess I should expect this with a wine of such youth. I wasn't really getting the classic Rutherford dust...I think 'the dust' was just some chalky tannin. I think this one would have been better with a two-hour decant, but no one was interested in waiting that long. This bottle was gone pretty fast! I think this will be better in one to two years, 9.5 to 9.6 without thinking twice. Thank you Weston!

This may be the first bottle of the 2015 vintage opened in America. Tremendous balance , especially for a current release. Chocolate covered cherries, subtle tannins and dry. It is drinking so well immediately. Shows what 2 years of barrel age can accomplish
