Dark ruby in color with a wide reddish rim.
Fruity on the nose with blueberries, over ripen black cherries, black plums, bitter vegetables, light bell pepper, earth, wood, light vanilla, barnyard and black pepper.
Medium-bodied with medium acidity and nice legs.
Dry and fruity on the palate with blueberries, cherries, sweet raspberries, earth, wood, light vanilla, licorice, spices, peppercorn, graphite, leather, vegetables and dark coffee.
Medium on the finish with fine grained tannins and bitter herbs.
This 5 year old Californian Cabernet Sauvignon is still drinking nicely, but it's on its way out. Probably picked a year or two ago. Not balanced anymore, but enjoyable by itself or with food. Nice and simple with a nice mouthfeel.

Honestly with a label like that, I couldn't resist getting a bottle. Surprisingly turned out to be very solid, full bodied and not acidic.
