Nose of; ripe blackberries, black cherries, cherries, blueberries, black plum and fresh dark florals. On the palate, black raspberries, blackberries, black plum, dark cherries, dark chocolate, medium intensity spice, supple tannins, chalky minerals, crushed rocks, leather, underbrush, dry stems & round acidity. Nice balance of fruit & earth, beautiful structure with a long fresh finish. 49% Cabernet, 20% Merlot, 6% Cab Franc. Mission Estate brings in one large act a year. They have a natural amphitheater on their very large estate that held over 26,000 for "The Dixie Chicks" the previous week of our visit.
