Honestly, we didn’t expect much from this bottle that probably retailed for $10 in 1993. But tbh, this was really an interesting wine. Smelled like raisins and prunes and tasted like prunes and also some bright red cherries. There was a band of acidity there still and a light tannins wash, too. It was not just interesting, it was also kinda good. You’d never match the palate of this with the label if you tasted it blind.
