Absolutely stunning. Red fruits are still bright but eucalyptus-bay leaf and earthy notes have stepped forward. Still some grip to the gritty tannins too. Delicious. #hvwine #nywine

Note that Delectable is identifying this wine as Australian. It is from the Hudson River Valley in New York State, USA (Millbrook, New York). Regardless, a nice Cab Franc made to a good level of ripeness, so lacking the vegetal qualities that some Chinon and Bourgueil wines have when not quite ripe. Nice fruit with a touch of smoke and earth.
