2013. Totally new to me. Had to try it. Nose a little funky. Palate is bright red fruit, tart, with a clovey note.

Hard at first. Asphalt and musky forest. Opened beautifully into fresh cherry and strawberry fruits. Chalky drying tannins that rounded out after a while. Slate minerality and woodsy. Like a pinotage but more exotic and structured.
