Methymneos
Blanc de Noirs Organic Lesbos Chidiriotiko
Lesbian wine (no really), from the Greek Island of Lesbos.
Notable but not show stealing skin contact, and a mix of stone fruit with some herbal notes.
Very easy to drink, would be great with light bright seafood dishes, or in a hammock.

Methymneos 'Chidiriotiko blanc de noirs' 2011, 14.5 % alcohol: Made from the indigenous Chidiriotiko variety which grows on volcanic soils in the western parts of the Greek island of Lesvos. Aromas of pear and quince, which reminds me of another rare local Greek variety called 'Kydonitsa' (Lakonia, Peleponnese). However this wine is much richer, almost Chablis like with a creamy texture. Quite mineralic, but the alcohol spikes a bit. A food wine, smoked fish should pair extremely well.
