Excellent Zin. Way better than the '13. Good fruit and smooth. Probably best of the non reserve for '14

Nice Zin thats actually in a good place at 8 years. Quite deep dark jammy purple fruit with some nice spice notes. At 15.5%, though, you can feel the alcohol throughout and it overwhelms. Still a nice pairing with harissa chicken thighs. Although I don’t love this bottle it does remind me that exploring the current state of CA zin would be interesting.

Ready to drink now! A full palate of mixed berry jam and a little earth mixed in. Drinks like a good reserve after a few years in the rack. Yum!
