Very subtle nose. Far exceeds its price point, and goes with anything because it is not overpowering so will not distract from what you would like to pair it with.

OMG!!! I have never been a fan of the Blackboard which I bought at Costco. But I was at Matthews last month and tried it and I WAS TOTALLY BLOWN AWAY!!! They call it a Washington Heritage Blend because it contains Cab, Merlot, Malbec and Syrah! For that price point, it is a unique and one of a kind quality wine!! I ended up buying a case! LOVE ❤️

Oct 2nd, 2019Best ever Blackboard!!! Fragrant nose with dark berries on the palette; nothing you’d expect at this price point. A relatively full-bodied wine with a hint of chocolate says it all.
