I'm a novice when it comes to Italian wines but this has the nose of alot of Italian wines I've had in the past, but a bit more "fresh" on the nose. It's a great value for around $20 and delicious. Very drinkable by itself and opens up quite nicely with food. The acitidy in this wine brings all the flavors together in the end.
