Labanese wine has a special place in my heart ever since I had one in France and have looked for some ever since! Came across this aged beauty and it reminds me of a left bank Bordeaux with depth and spice and a looooong silky finish. Smiles for days!

Generous, dark and intense. Cab, mourvèdre and syrah. Barrel tannins a bit distracting right now.

What a pleasure this 50/40/10 Cab/Mourvedre/Syrah blend is! Vivid red fruits with earthy undertone, sprinkled with wood spices, fig, and incense. Integrated oak, medium-high acidity and solid tannins with penetrating power. Matured in French oak barrel for 16 months, about 1/3 new. I think Mourvedre really stands out in this bottle.
