I like this a lot. Not overly complex but so drinkable. Pretty, fresh, upfront fruit with classic CDR licorice, earth and spice layers yet none of the heat or cloying overripeness that so often mars the style; soft texturally without seeming manipulated. Excellent value at around €10.

Jan 20th, 2016Blinded this as an Ardeche wine. Reminiscent of Texier's Grenache based wines from the area. Lots of stony minerality, gritty tannin and blue/black fruit.
