This one seemed heavier than other cab francs I've tried. Normally I'm quite a fan of this grape, especially from France and even California. But this one was not as enjoyable though still quaffable. Medium bodied, but with persistent tannins. A mess of dark fruit, including blackberry and boysenberry, on the palate. 100% Cabernet Franc. 3/26/22.

Feb 12th, 2022Medium-bodied, silky mouthfeel, aromatic, dark fruit. Pairs so well with roast lamb, eggplant and strong cheeses.

Jul 17th, 2016A lot of alcohol on the nose but other than that a pretty nice example of WA cab franc. Muddled dark fruit, medium-heavy tannins and a tongue coating mouthfeel. 30 second finish. Not very complex but great bang for the buck.
