This thing has no business being $17. Smoke, charcoal, chocolate, toasty oak, vanilla, and cinnamon.. this is Tempranillo turned up to 11. Still beautiful acidity and color, dense texture with some gripping tannins. I’d give this 5 more years to settle down or decant overnight.. but she’s a beaut for the modest price tag.

Salty meat, vanilla, red and black currant, black pepper on the nose. The palate is very long with this strong acid backbone ans some oaky notes on the sides along with some currant touches. More tertiary than primary I'd say. A salty meaty finish with a shy fruit. Good but could have stayed in the cellar a couple of additional years. A bit too oaky for my taste
