Dramatic, opulent, rich. I'm already a fan of the Lacrima grape, an absolute jewel of Marche. Made from grapes dried for 120 days. Aromatic Christmas spices, dried dark roses, brandied cherries, ripe blackberries. Secondary notes of bittersweet root and bark, a touch of cacao. A great cold weather cozy sipper for fans of Amarone. Pair with blue cheese, bacon wrapped dates, or balsamic reduction anything.
