Wow, Loire. Sauv blanc behaves so much more tartly in your soil! Nose pucker. Pale yellow green, nose was citrus (grapefruit, lime) and mineral stone. Medium weight, so sharply acidic. I would've liked more fruit on the palate. Or maybe it's balanced and this is just more acidic than I prefer. Curious about how it'd be with buttery fish or seafood. still feel it needs more fruit, don't especially love it. Would waiting a year help? How typical is this acid-fruit-minerality for Loire SB?
