Briny, rain on the sidewalk, aloe vera nose with a little lime zest. Preserved lemon on the palate with a hint of almond and grapefruit pith.

I’ve never tried a wine from Monterrei and was pleasantly surprised with the structure and balance of the wine. White floral notes of jasmine, honeysuckle shine through the smoky finish of slate. I love this wine because of the slight pop of stewed peaches on the mid palate. Full bodied with a round creamy mouth.

Tangy, crisp goodness. Touch of mineral and pear with that broad texture, a subtle buzz of acidity on the finish. Handled a little heat nicely.

Powerful fruity fragrance. Light at first taste that falls into splendid minerality. Almost a little acidic with a very easy finish. Lovely wine.
