Cool climate red done reasonably well. I was wondering if it was actually any good or if we were caught up in the moment at the winery, but the bottle disappeared quickly with some tenderloin and fresh ears of corn. Decant for an hour or so to dust off the cobwebs. A bit of spice on the nose and tart cranberry with a little green pepper on the palate.

Im loving this wine. So unique. Has the flavour of a gamay with fresh cranberry raspberry and currants with the body of a cab sauv or maybe a solid ripasso. Will buy some more.

Holding up well. Still very juicy acidity. Maybe even a little austere to a fault?

Fruity, dark berries and excellent with food or alone. Definitely want more!

This guy made fast friends with our lamb roast. Exciting leather on the nose. If you have this vintage, drink it now. It's pretty spectacular now, but I feel like it might start falling off soon.

Just polishing off the bottle we opened a couple of days ago. It was great then and it's even better now. Starting to get some smokier notes on the nose, but the palate is still very fruit-forward. Delicious, but if I had more of this vintage, I'd hang onto it for a year or two.

Belatedly adding this one; our Mew Year's bonfire wine. Glad to be drinking Foch (and such a lovely example) again!
