Yellow/Gold color with the amazing smell of buttered popcorn 🍿 oaked, herbal. More body when tasting. Some fresh pear (fresh fruit) = old world

Likely fine on it's own, this was demolished by the overwhelming flavors of the lemon meyer pasta dish it was paired with by the restaurant. I would have preferred a Sauvignon Blanc to get some herbal notes for the dish. This wine needed more respect than it got with me.
