Luis Felipe Edwards
Dancing Flame Ojos del Salado Valle Central Shiraz
Central Valley, Chile
Nose: black cherry, mocha, stone. Promising and Bordeaux-like, though a little bright. Also reminds me of some of the good Argentinian Malbecs I’ve had. Taste: dark berries, a little simple. It’s fine. Air makes it a lot better, worked well with food. 85. Fine deal for $6 at Aldi!

May 26th, 2017I'm not a fan of Chilean red, but saw this in a Bajan grocery store where the choice was limited and I decided to go with it. Was pleasantly surprised. Slightly heavier than I was expecting of a Shiraz and I didn't read the label in depth, but I enjoyed it. I will buy it again. Vintage 2014.
