Massive Sonoma cabernet. Even after about an hour in the decanter it's barely approachable. (It will be interesting to see how it is tomorrow after a full day.) Dark purple, color. Medium body in the glass (lighter than I expected) but dense and chewy on the palate. Subdued nose showing the usual unrestrained California cabernet notes, faint trace of braised meats. Good, unclear how this will age, but for under $25, solid value.
