GW tasting 9/27/16. Old vine 44 yes old. Age worthy. Heavier body and firm structure with long complex finish. Not quite as acidic and minerals. 30% new oak. Acid will come through later according to Nelson.

Can't pinpoint it yet, but has the same signature not I get on Paul Lato's Santa Maria Chard. Excellent.

This wine is indeed. "Bien bien" a touch too much oak right now but excited for it in a few years.
