Bugey-Cerdon Sparkling Gamay Rosé

My favorite region for fun sparkling wine! Strawberry, raspberry and light brown sugar (granulated).
Unsure of the exact blend, but this should be mostly Gamay with Poulsard added.

Bubble gum, cranberry/hawthorn, slightly floral

A little sweeter than I was expecting, but still a great wine. Would most likely go better with spicy food or as an aperitif. Low ABV makes it a great glug wine.

This gamay sparkling rose is a bright fun drink. After tasting it at a local shop I bought and saved it for a special occasion. It is a celebration of strawberry harvest. Acid balanced with fruit of strawberry. It is only 8% so it is wonderful on a hot day.
It is made in an "ancestral tradition" of fermenting in the bottle naturally.

New Year's Eve selection

Fantastic change of pace from the usual holiday bubbles.

Great Rose for people who don't normally drink it.

Rosé sparkling. I happened to notice this one in the restaurant Le Bernardin. Was told that we can find locally. Very good easy drinking in the blooming spring.
