Reserve Paso Robles Cabernet Sauvignon

The house cab at Jimmy P’s steakhouse in Naples, Fl. Perfect mid price pairing with a big steak. Fruity start with hints of blackberries and currants. Finishes with light oaky fruit taste. Really nice.

Very easy to drink…Great dinner wine

Really solid for price point—medium body, dark, with flavor that grows longer since opened (but doesn’t take more than 20min or so). @Peter Wassam may enjoy, comes Sommelier-recommended at a fine Moroccan establishment (along w/ other typical house rec of Bousquet reserve Malbec from Mendoza Argentina, also quite good).

So it’s a Paso Robles Cab kinda Friday. This is actually really good. Big, jammy, takes some time to fully open up but really pop n pour! Keeps hitting the next level every ten mins or so. And not dissing but better qpr than Chuck Hope.

Tried a new Paso…couldn’t quite get into this one, not bad though. Would drink, but wouldn’t buy

A hit wth the misses. Boozy at first. But smoothed out later.
