I wanted to enjoy this more than I did. Experienced in their tasting room, at home the tannins were raw making it quite astringent. Moreover the wine tastes thin and a bit hot, would have liked a bit more balance. Acidity was fine, picked up blackberry, dark cherries, some kind of chocolate/dairy cream characteristic.

2011 Vintage. Just didn't bring out what I like about Texas Tempranillo.
