A friend who worked at Eric Solomon Imports gave me this wine many years ago and told me it need a bit of bottle age. Well, I forgot about it, so it got plenty of bottle age. After 18 years in the cellar, I thought it would be well past it’s prime, but it was still alive and vibrant. A bit of iron, some leather, and a surprising amount of red fruit.
