Cherry red, robust body. In the nose; spices, red fruits, sugar cane, vanilla, oak, medium tannin, low acidity, short finish. Very good for a merlot.

Dark fruits and liquorice flavours, a bit of spice on the nose. As someone else said “good enough but nothing special”.

It was right that I think

Light drinking and balanced. Nothing more

Nice and pleasant enough. Drunk with friends on house hunting trip to Ruffec.
