Deep purple/garnet. Nose: oak, red fruit, earth, spices. Mouth: high alc, high tannins, med acid. Red fruit, oak, baking spice, strong bitter chocolate. Seems a little out of balance as the bitter chocolate overwhelms some of the other favors and when mixed with the high alc its a little aggressive. Could improve with some additional aging to soften the sharp edges.
