2014 vintage. Dry example. Yellow apple, lemon peel, bitter almond, dried yellow flowers, little bit of beeswax. It's moderately textured, suggesting at least partial barrel fermentation.

Let's hope it gets better as it warms to above fridge temp and opens from a bit of decanting... cause right now, not so good-- and I love Chenin (the full spectrum of the grape and how it's done in the Loire). Nope-- too sweet for me, even after 24hrs open.

Ripe pear, peach, and pineapple, orange blossom, and a dollop of honey. Vibrant and sensual in the style of Vouvray. All I could wish for is a stronger streak of acidity to help balance the residual sugar.

One of my favorite white wine. Sweet aromas, honeydew melon with a slight hint of lemon peel. Off dry with just enough sweetness, nice balance.

Fruity, but with a strange aftertaste reminiscent of a Sauvignon Blanc (which I don't care for). Just a personal preference.
