Golden yellow in color. Sulfur and apricot notes in nose initially, shifts later to tangerine and vanilla. Tangerine and stone fruit notes in mouth, lemon, tangerine peel and slight stone fruit finish. Fruity overall, with a slightly tart finish, and just a touch of prickly skin astringency. Interesting to age this a bit, but better to drink it young and fresh

1979 the vineyards were planted and there is no oak here so a very fresh style pretty floral notes jasmine and Lon blossom notes of tangerine and fresh apple. A nice richness on the tongue creamy with apricot fruit and lovely freshness through the finish. Excellent

A little green actually, yellow-green. The nose was restrained in comparison to the palate. Wowzas!

Full-bodied, big. Thick. Oily almost. Mineraly, almost even spicy.

I looked and wasn't surprised that the alcohol was 14.5%. It is a little hot.

Not light or on the "fresh" end of the spectrum. Drink w something substantial.

A favorite white and I don't drink a lot of whites. L'Ecole is a top producer of Semillon in Washington. Citrus, honey, crisp acidity. WE 90.

Minerals from the start and very upfront on you palette, Sort of like a German Chardonnay. After it opened the honey and smoothness took over and it wasn't so harsh. Interesting wine loved it both freshly opened AND after it sat.
