Valpolicella Ripasso Classico Superiore Corvina Blend

I’ve had other vintages of this that I preferred more - good, but not great.

Pleasing red fruit, nice balance medium to light bodied red. An interesting musty quality looms above a would-be non-memorable wine. The tannin is light but gripping an it opens to some dried fruit and herbal qualities in the mouth.
