Gorgeous wine and the only Swiss wine we have from the French side. Nose is all spice and it’s a dizzying array. Some soppy red cherries as well. Palate is ripe and so elegant with stunning freshness and purity. A bit of heat though not in the 21. It’s 14.1 and it’s showing.

Awesome nose. Sweet wood, dark cherry, lilacs and even some dark roses. Licorice as well. Gorgeous penetrating aromas. Raspberry essence and dusty earth. Knockout nose. Wow. So elegant. So deep and layered. 9.5 on the nose. Palate is super elegant and juicy with extraordinary fruit. Juicy and concentrated with killer inner mouth aromas and the fruit skin essence of blackberry, black cherry skin and morello cherries melt into your cheeks and are buffered by excellent acidity. Nose gets some dusty wood shavings with air. Great grip, concentration and structure. Dynamite. 9.4 for now but air will bring greater things. As this airs it gets so silky and so focused. Easy 9.5.

Blind I probably would have guessed something from California. Certainly would never have gotten Pinot, from Switzerland or anywhere else. 14.3% and you can feel it, even with a 3 hour decant and reasonable chill. Not overly distinctive. Still tasty and well made, clearly, but not a good value at $40ish.

Nose: lovely swee t cherries. Cherry lipstick. As this opens penetrating lilacs.
Palate : perfect mid season cherries. Very bright. Great balance. Terrific palate vivacity.
Let’s see where this goes..
MUCH better with air. Nose is more complex. Palate is amazing. Great precision.
