Unabashedly huge. Cherry jam, red licorice, blackberry liqueur, currant preserves, Rosemary, anise, pipe tobacco, and a soft tilled soil quality. Big smoke component on the palette. Dark flavors but a surprising dollop of acidity on the finish. The high alcohol does lend to a pleasing viscosity. Not my favorite style of wine but I can see why they are gaining notoriety.

Huge wine. I think we opened it too early. Luckily we have another bottle at home, would like to see how it progress with age

Big, ballsy Grenache. Tannins, big alcohol. Bit of bitterness far on the finish.
