L'Argentier
Gres de Montpellier
2011. Penultimate bottle of the nine I purchased. I was making a bacon, spinach, and goat cheese frittata for dinner and wanted a red wine to go with it… I thought Loire Cabernet Franc would be great, but there were none in my cellar (need to fix that), so this mellowed out Grenache blend worked great!

Mar 31st, 20222011. My 5th of 9 bottles puchased at two winemaker dinners several years ago. From the number I purchased you can tell I thought the QPR was great. Where it is right now it has great cherry/berry flavors, mellowing acidity, and smooth (absent) tannins.

Feb 13th, 20172011. Still have several bottles of this fruity little bit funky grenache in my cellar. Loved it from this first wine tasting we attended with the vintner.
