Label is meh. Mendo wine from an American Canyon producer. And no vintage on the bottle? But it was $6 at grocery outlet, and I have had a hankering for Zin. Deep color. Higher ABV for where it’s from at 14.3%. Aroma is good. Earth, cherry-berry and a hint of char. Flavors are fairly straight-forward CA Zin. A bit of complexity, but overall pretty pat. It’s serviceable.
