Similar to the 2020 vintage. Lots of natural wine vibes emanating out of this. Tart and bright, strong levels of acidity and a slight funk with pencil shavings and cherries.

Plenty of oxidation and funk on this wine. You can smell it’s a “natural wine” right out. Graphite, maybe more pencil shavings, with wet leather and cranberries. Bright and vibrant, though it’s already edging out of its lifespan. I wouldn’t wait much longer on this vintage (‘20).

Definitely some “natural wine aromatics” coming off of this one. Like Beaujolais, only from Can Franc and Grolleau. Good complexity with fruit and savoriness. For 13% abv I expected a bit more weight. But a fun crushable red.

Not a brett monster like the 2011. Just a little to make it good :)

Held it back for a year and now drinking well for a cheap VdF. Delightful for a light meal.
