Teachers are notorious for bringing their work home with them - you know, where their wine is. I sipped while finishing grades for report cards, a serious task for a not too serious wine. I tasted red fruits with medium tannins and some spice. Not much pepper, more of a clove taste. The fruit and spice didn't seem to know that they were supposed to work together, kind of like the students in that one group assignment I had to check. The wine still managed to get good grade, owing to the mild tannins that showed up prepared.

Earthy aromas: soil, black licorice, red fruit. Drinkable but leaves me wanting more. Black cherry, plum, clove, and spice according to bottle but honestly I'm getting more of a bland earthy flavor than any of those.
