Vin de Pays de Vaucluse

Great recommendation from Pike and Western.

Tastes like chemical and leather I think I have to develop more for this one. You could describe it as blending an old folks home up in a vitamix and trying to drink that.......yea.....

I really didn’t like it. Tastes sour. Maybe my bottle was spoiled. . Still smoke flavor. Worst Rhône I’ve ever had.

Menthol, mushroom, earth, funk on the palate. Overripe cranberries, raspberries, sweet spices on the nose. Medium/full tannins with a long, complex finish. The interesting blend and near-CdP terroir really shines through.

Sour

2013 blend of 35% Grenache, 35% Syrah, 15% Alicante, 8% Cinsault, 7% Carignan. Medium weight, a bit of earth and mineral. Worth well more than $14.

Medium body, pepper nose and light pepper note. Difficult to find. Good with fish.

Fantastic blend for the price.

Medium body. Good value. Pike and Western select.
