This was a magnam and it was quite simply fantastic. Great fruit with dried fruit and herb overtones.

Nose has smokey dry earth, dry lavender, old licorice, dried black cherry, ripe black currant, dried blackberry and (light) dried oak.

Palate has silky dried blackberry, ripe plum, black currant jam, (light) dark chocolate, dried blueberry and light tannins. Mouth coating texture. Future bottles should be 2023+

50% Grenache & 50% Mourvédre

Paired with a bottom round beef roast, slow cooked 8+ hours with autumn root vegetables and the au jus from the roast, thickened with a little of my own tomato paste, delicious.

Mature with fruit. Would drink with grilled meat. Not a wine to hold.

A new and approachable favorite. NO OAK used for this 50/50 Grenache Mourvèdre cdp. Super easy going with such a deep base you could be fooled into thinking it is California.

A blend of equal parts Grenache and Mourvèdre from the ‘Les Bédines’ lieu-dit. It possesses a dark, opaque color with notes of blackberries and dark plum woven together with spices, floral, dark chocolate, licorice and hints smoke and dusty minerals.
