Classic Collection Pinotage

I haven't had a Pinotage in ages as it is not easy to find here in Mexico but this was exactly what I expected. Great full fruity flavour.

Plum, raspberry, cherry, licorice

Surprisingly well aged for only 2 years. Raspberry and plum with a touch of spicy cassis. Slight mint makes it quite refreshing and rounds out the fruit. Not a big fan of mainstream pinotage (due to the often young, too bright fruit) but am very happily enjoying this.

Decent on its own. Pretty good with red meat

Fry, even, end tang

Good pinotage. Enjoying with take out pasta from Cafe Lucci.

Full body and smokey. Much better aerated than not, but still very enjoyable. Mature palette.

Really surprised on the upside. Not too heavy

Bm-. Tm-. Am. Fm+.

Pleasantly surprised - Smokey, blackberry and plum fruit with some bramble. Fairly balanced tannins and acid, high alcohol.
